TRC is looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians to join the team of our client's team in the Wellingborough NN8 Area.

Salary : £41,000 per year

The Role :

  • Ensure that all Manufacturing Plant is maintained in line with targeted KPIs and best-practice methodologies.
  • electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, process & PLC.
  • Work within a cell structure to give technical support to the allocated area, this area will receive priority attention for calls and support with continuous improvement tasks.
  • Record & Report findings from investigations.
  • Provide flexibility for cover through holidays / training / absence.
  • Maintain & service all plant & equipment to agreed schedules.
  • Commit to personal & team development through active engagement in the PDR process.
  • Apply Lean Methodologies and Contiguous Improvement principles to daily work activities.
  • Responsible for Product Safety & Product Quality as defined by regulatory, Hydro, and local procedures.
  • Communicate issues in a timely manner through escalation of a chain of command.
  • To conduct planned preventative maintenance including the upkeep of the CMMS system.
  • To provide mechanical breakdown cover for all activities carried out on the site.
  • To provide electrical breakdown cover for all activities carried out on the site.
  • To carry out maintenance, repairs, installation, and testing of electrical apparatus
  • To carry out maintenance, repairs, installation, and testing of Mechanical apparatus
  • To work within pressurized time constraints during breakdown situations
  • Actively Participate in the improvement of planned maintenance systems
  • The Candidate :

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar or equivalent role.
  • Experience with legionella water testing and associated preventative measures.
  • Experience in completing a program in Portable Appliance Testing.
  • Significant experience working in a multi-skilled role including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, building, and landscaping / gardening.
  • IT Skills ability to use Microsoft Office and email.
  • Caring and compassionate towards people in need of housing, care, and support and those providing these services.
  • Willing to seek guidance when needed and follow instructions.
  • Willing to undertake training deemed as necessary for the completion of duties.
