We are excited to be able to offer a full time family worker post within the Specialist Fostering Support Team.

This unique team continues to develop and expand to meet the demands of supporting young people in care and their foster carers.

You will be a part of a multi disciplinary team who seek to offer bespoke and tailored short term intervention to promote placement stability.

You will need to be flexible and open in your approach as the work is often diverse and complex.

We are looking for a worker who can offer support, advice and training to foster carers particularly around attachment, trauma and PACE and so will need to be confident and knowledgeable in these areas.

Family workers are also expected to attain and utilise a range of evidenced based approaches and interventions skills.

You will need to have a knowledge of fostering and children in care procedures.

We offer a chance to be part of a creative and positive team who are continuing to develop and explore ways in which we can deliver effective support.
