The Role

AXA Assistance UK supports the needs of several hundred clients and several million of their customers in the UK and worldwide.

The assistance centre operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.

Joining us as a Claims Handler, you’ll be an essential member of the team helping our customers over the phone by handling their claims.

You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to build great relationships with our customers, based on integrity and trust.

You will work in our Redhill contact centre, providing full claims handling in relation to Home and Motor emergency assistance, helping our customers in the UK and those travelling overseas.

You’ll manage the claim, making sure all parties involved are all up to date throughout until the work is completed.

Position Details

  • Start Dates August, October, September
  • Fixed Term Contract Potential to go permanent
  • Shift Patterns - 35 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern between the hours of 7am 8pm including weekends
  • Salary £21,071
  • Qualifications

    We’ll provide all the technology and training, and in return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm, passion for customer service, natural talent for connecting with people, quick problem-solving ability and positive, can do attitude.

    You’ll be a great listener, confident communicating over the phone and using computers and love working as part of a collaborative team.

    At times, you’ll be dealing with increased call volumes, particularly during extreme seasonal workloads. You’ll be able to deal with this calmly and still be able to focus on delivering great service.
