We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a seasoned individual to join us as a senior project manager within our global fire business.

within this role you will be responsible for the development, and launch of our new fire system offerings. You’ll be responsible for driving end to end new product introductions, working across a multitude of functions within our organisation.

The Role

  • You’ll direct all phases of projects / programs from inception through to market launch.
  • You’ll be executing the NPI to meet all project / program objectives including cost, schedule, quality and scope targets.
  • You’ll act as the point of contact for managed project portfolios with respect to escalations, status reporting, resource management and project data stewardship.
  • You’ll develop and communicate performance metrics for project execution across the managed project portfolios
  • You will coordinate the preparation of NPI artifacts for the entire project / program, including proposals, plans, requirements, concepts, budgets, business models, financial analysis, and value propositions.
  • You’ll be setting milestones and monitor adherence to project / program plans and schedules; identifying and solving scheduling challenges;
  • and optimising schedules where required.

  • You’ll lead resource analysis and forecasting on projects for all cross-functional resources including marketing, engineering, sourcing, etc.
  • You’ll co-ordinate the entire supply-chain from suppliers to customer, through to the start of production.
  • Interact frequently with internal and external stakeholders regularly reflecting on lessons learned and root cause analysis to drive process improvements, increase stakeholder satisfaction, and to drive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to effectively identify and resolve strategic issues related to respective project / programs and take ownership for driving these issues to closure.

  • We’re looking for

  • You’ll have very strong project managing experience in a product development discipline
  • You must have development lifecycle experience
  • We’d like to see a project management qualification such as PRINCE2 or PMP etc.
  • You’ll have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively and strategically at a range of levels
  • Previous knowledge or experience or JIRA would be advantageous
  • Previous knowledge or experience of AGILE would be advantageous
