We are looking for dedicated, passionate individuals to join our team of Bank Support Workers at Kerwin Court in Horsham.

This is ideal for candidates looking to pick and choose shifts and require flexibility in work. You will be covering annual leave, sickness and available shifts as and when required.

About us : Kerwin Court delivers specialist neurobehavioural rehabilitation to adults with acquired brain injury. You would be working as part of a multidisciplinary team with rehabilitation support workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists and therapy assistants.

The role offers training and development opportunities and is an excellent opportunity for those interested in careers in rehabilitation or clinical roles.

Set in attractive landscaped gardens, Kerwin Court has a bright, modern and spacious environment superbly equipped for neurobehavioural rehabilitation.

This includes, physiotherapy gyms, occupational therapy kitchens, a games room, and a large garden with allotment, amongst other amenities.

There are 16 ensuite rooms, two flats and five bungalows to support service users increasing their independence. The Disabilities Trust is a leading UK charity that works alongside people with an acquired brain injury, autism, and learning or physical disabilities to help them live as independently as possible.

Our high-quality services across the UK support people to move forward with their lives. These include assessment and rehabilitation centres, hospitals, care homes, supported living accommodation, care in people’s homes and a school.

Main duties :
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with the people we support, contributing to the creation of a homely and pleasant living environment for each individual.
  • Participate in the development of individuals support plans, risk assessments and programmes, complete written records as necessary and in accordance with the guidelines provided.
  • Accompany individuals on activities in the community and actively participate as required.
