Hamlin Knight is recruiting for a HR Administrator to join a leading Education provider based in Coventry. Monday - Friday 08.

30am - 5.30pm with excellent company benefits!. This position would be ideal for someone from a HR / Recruitment / Senior Administration background looking to develop a long tern HR career.

PURPOSE. Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator is responsible for managing day to day HR queries, supporting the HR function with all general administration, and delivering excellent service standards to both internal and external stakeholders.

In addition, it is the responsibility of the HR Administrator to ensure that HR policies and processes are adhered to. The candidate will take ownership of new starters and probationers, absence management, recruitment and on-

boarding activity, Induction and training, and managing and administering employee benefits. The HR Administrator will assist the HR Manager with on-

going tasks and projects. The HR Administrator will be expected to liaise effectively with managers, employees, external candidates and suppliers, providing a proactive and professional reflection of the HR function.

RESPONSIBILITIES. *Management of new starters and probationers including; new starter documents (for personnel file and payroll), Induction, IT permissions, and probationary paperwork, adhering to relevant timescales and HR legislation.

  • Assist with recruitment and selection processes, including posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and acting as the main contact for candidates and managers with regards to recruitment providing full support in the absence of fellow HR Administrator.
  • Manage employee queries and administer changes to the pension scheme on a monthly basis, communicating accordingly. This will include;
  • leavers, opt-ins, opt-outs, contribution changes, and changes to personal details. *Conduct DBS checks for all PAYE employees, issuing appropriate links, sourcing and verifying ID documents, and updating the external DBS portal accordingly.

  • Coordinate and administer employee maternity and paternity documentation, accurately communicating dates and formal documentation to payroll when required.
  • Manage HR documents used by both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring documents are accurate, up to date, and reflect branding and standards.
  • Liaise with both managers and employees regarding basic HR queries including; notices, maternity and paternity, and company benefits;
  • appropriately referring complex HR issues to the HR Manager for escalation. *Assist with all general HR administration duties, including referencing, recording and collating paperwork, completing new starter documentation, and uploading / filing personnel paperwork as required.

  • Raise HR purchase orders as required, cross checking costs and logging accurately. *Ensure data protection and confidentiality at all times.
