Join us as a Trading Space Visual Merchandiser and you’ll help us speak to all these customers, all across the country. Role Purpose : To co-

ordinate the Visual Merchandising elements of the trading plan for each specific Trading area. To work closely with the Trade Planners in the Trading teams, the Visual Merchandisers and the planogrammers to bring to life all aspects of the trading plan.

Enhance the customer experience by ensuring the right products have the right space in our estate by working closely with the space analysis TSM’s. Role Objectives :

  • Responsible for the co-ordination of all Visual Merchandising aspects of the trading plan with support from the VMP team.
  • Define and continually update detailed principles for trading space visual merchandising using customer insight and your awareness of trends and how customers shop.
  • Ensure these principles are applied in product layouts and end set ups
  • Responsible for setting up all aspects of the trading plan in the onsite merchandising lab including volume, promo, campaign, category ends and lay flats and wire baskets, FSDU’s, checkout products and clip strips where appropriate
  • Walk, engage and present campaign set ups to wider commercial teams with support of the category trade planners.
  • Know and understand what trading, impulse and category end space each store has by maintaining a robust matrix for each respective trading area and working closely with the store planning team and other Trading Space Merchandisers.
  • Will work in a very close proximity with the trade planners in each of the trading teams to understand the line level detail and product nominations for each respective trading area and challenge where required.
  • Close working relationship with the campaign planogrammer and ability to share complex work in a simple fashion to ensure accurate planogram capture
  • Actively visit stores to follow in campaign activity as a trading space merchandising team to analyse, assess and improve output and build strong relationships with stores for real time feedback
  • Hold the category trade planners to account to deliver robust line level detail that is accurate and on time
  • Work within parameters of the campaign CPA ensuring all deadlines are met and the wider teams are supported
  • Be a key advocate and spokesperson about the importance of our store teams keeping to the plan and continuously gather feedback from stores about the merchandising of ends*you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as we may reasonably require* Knowledge and Experience Required :
  • Fully able to use all Microsoft office packages to a high standard
  • Ability to Prioritise and handle multiple projects, working within strict deadlines
  • Experience of planning promotional activity within a retail environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and relationship building skills, working effectively across teams to deliver against company objectives
  • Presentation & Facilitation Skills
  • Working knowledge of IKB and JDA space planning is desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrable experience in one or more Visual Merchandising, Commercial, Store Operations or Store Design roles
  • Full driving licence and the flexibility to travel throughout the UK when required Communication and Working Relationships
