An exciting opportunity hasarisen to join the Human Pharma division of Boehringer Ingelheim as a RegionalOperations Manager.

The remit of this role is to effectively coach andperformance manage a high performing sales team (of either Primary Care Specialistsor Therapy Area Specialists) to deliver sales targets through high qualitycustomer interactions.

The successful candidate willbe responsible for their team’s effective implementation of marketing strategy amongstidentified customer groups.

The Regional Operations Manager will also contributeto local account plans, ensure the team action plans will be implemented and utiliseinnovative ideas to serve customers and patients in order to deliver.

You will be required to havestrong judgement and leadership skills. Important aspects of the position arethat of staff development, effective recruitment, an eye for detail andbudgetary responsibility, therefore, applicants must have a solid understandingof the implementation of business strategy & performance drivers.

At Boehringer Ingelheim, theROM will need to be and ensure that all direct reports are conversant andcompliant with the ABPI Code and all relevant BI internal standard operatingprocedures.

The ROM is also responsiblefor maintaining a high tone within their team of the importance of compliance,and is a role model of BI values (respect, trust, empathy and passion).

In-field coaching plays animportant part in this role, experience in this discipline will be highlyvalued along with a relevant tertiary qualification.

Experience within a commercialand regulatory environment will be required and completion of the ABPI Coursewill be a requirement within 2 years of commencing employment within thePharmaceutical Industry.
