Due to the nature of the role, good verbal and written communication skills are required to liaise with residents, staff and other professionals and record resident’s information on service plans.

Springfield Garth is an elderly person’s home which provides personal care and accommodation for people with various care needs.

We pride ourselves on the care we deliver and you will work as part of a small, dedicated team, delivering personal care to vulnerable people, ensuring their dignity and maximise their independence.

If you’ve got experience, that’s great, we’d love to hear from you. If not, don’t worry, we’ll give you all the help and support you need to settle in quickly.

If you do not already hold the Level 2 in Health and Social Care or the QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, that isn’t a problem! All we ask is for your commitment to study the qualification with full support and training from us to help you to develop.

Staff development is important to us so we will also pay for you to complete it via our apprenticeship training route.

To apply, you must have the flexibility to work on a rota which may include evenings and alternate weekends, depending on your contracted hours.

  • Band 4 - If you are joining us pre-April 2019 you can expect the hourly rate to be £8.68 - £9.01. From April 2019 you will be paid in the line with our 2019 pay award rising up to £9.36 - £9.55 per hour.
