Chartered Design Engineer
They are recruiting for a Chartered Engineer MICE or MIStructE with a minimum of 6 years’ experience of designing projects from conception to completion, excellent knowledge of RC Steel design and sound analytical skills.
Good project management skills required but must also have a hands on approach being able to produce design calculations for projects as needed.
Be proficient in the use of structural software for analysis and design e.g. TEDDS, TSD, Portal Frame etc., and a competent user of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
You will have a working knowledge of industry technical standards and design codes including Eurocodes, plus Health Safety and CDM legislation.
Experience of Electrical Substation projects is desirable.
We are looking for an experienced Engineer who integrate quickly and be actively involved in design.
Interact and cooperate with all company employees. This will include managing all future staff reporting to the position so as to effectively recruit, train and develop, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities in accordance with company procedures, policy and employment law.
Represent the company at meetings and liaise with partners, external agencies and other relevant individuals or bodies as necessary.
Contribute to the management and development of the company and promote effective working relationships both internally and externally.
Actively participate in maintaining and developing the company image and reputation by ensuring delivery of a quality service and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
Utilise technology in the development and delivery of your work.
Attend training and develop relevant skills, knowledge and experience.
Occasional work out of normal office hours as required.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures and assist with reviewing and updating as necessary.
