Job description
We are recruiting on behalf of a group of practices in the Wokingham area for a Permanent Mobile Veterinary Nurse.This role is full time for 4 days per week, along with 1 in 4 weekends.
There will be no OOH work or on-call duties.
The position will be based within a 24hr animal hospital in Wokingham and they will also provide support for several practices around the area.
The ideal candidate should enjoy working as part of a busy team and possess the confidence to work alone when required. They will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work and should be happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
The practice can provide an enthusiastic and motivated nurse with a good medical and surgical caseload as well as some more complex emergency cases with them being a 24hr animal hospital.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop nurse clinics and help promote new ideas within the practice. It will also enable them to utilise their clinical skills to the fullest and offer future career development opportunities.
Duties include :
Providing ongoing support and cover to practices within the region of Wokingham. Rota will reflect the requirements for the region.
Complete all aspects of nursing duties and assisting Veterinary Surgeons
Supervise the nursing and ancillary staff
Clinical coaching duties for SVNs
Assist the management team with the administration that is needed to complete the smooth day to day running of the practice.
Reception enquiries when required
Liaise with clients and ensure accurate information is passed on regarding their pets

Package :
Salary : Up to 30,000 per annum, commensurate to experience
Holidays : 5 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays
