Here is your chance to join our EMEA Education team working in the highly visible role of Program Manager. In this role, you will help set strategic direction for digital skills in EMEA, and orchestrate the day-
to-day operations of the AWS Educate program.
AWS Educate is part of Amazon Web Services Public Sector group and is focused on enabling students and educators for cloud computing careers.
Launched in 2015, AWS Educate is focused on building bold initiatives to accelerate the integration and application of Cloud content and tools into classrooms around the globe.
AWS Educate members include universities, colleges, and high schools and the educators and students from these institutions.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to take the initiative to complete complex tasks and projects quickly and autonomously, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, switch gears at a moment's notice, and take effective action without having to know the total picture.
Create strategies and identify opportunities and partners for large scale student acquisition campaigns and work in partnership with the global AWS Educate team to grow adoption of the program
Creating event project plans and organise AWS Educate events for our member institutions across EMEA, in partnership with the Training and Certification and Public Sector events team
Work closely with PR and marketing to develop regular news stories and blogs from Educate members across EMEA
Support institutions, educators and students with the program design and on-boarding process
Support institutions and educators with providing guidance and recommendations for integrating AWS Educate content into curriculum
Invent strategies and communication plans for progressing students and educators along pathways to completion
Provide first level support to institutions, educators and student members of the program, in coordination with the Technical Program Management and Customer Support teams in North America
Analyse AWS Educate membership data and trends and measure program success for internal and external reporting
Keep up-to-date with the different platforms and tools we work with internally
Demonstrable experience in a team coordination position.
Recent experience in a fast-paced, multinational technology company.
Experience working with large-scale skills programs
Superior knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and SharePoint are desired.
Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English
Positive, proactive and always able to exercise great judgment.
Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
Degree level education preferred
Experience working within education
Experience leading large scale marketing and communications campaigns
Communication and collaboration skills that enable you to earn trust up, down, and across the company.
Experience influencing product or service development
Knowledge and / or hands-on experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
Previous experience with CRM software (e.g Salesforce) and BI tools (e.g Tableau)
Experience in following legal and finance processes related to a training engagements and events
Ability to communicate in multiple languages. Spanish or French preferred.
