Network Manager (Stockport)
Our partner secondary school located in the Stockport area is looking to recruit a Network Manager to start with them at the beginning of the new academic year.
The successful applicant will be responsible for strategic development of IT Services across the Trust but will be based at a Stockport Academy.
Responsibility includes the management, installation, maintenance and security of the school network, hardware and software.
She / he will have extensive knowledge and experience of developing and maintaining large, high quality ICT networks and systems based on and off site.
Excellent inter-personal and organisational skills, including change project management and budgeting are essential. The candidate will preferably have experience of working in a Secondary School or a further education establishment.

She / he will lead a team of Technicians, including an Assistant Network Manager.

The school is close to the local train station as well as the local metrolink tram network which services the whole of Greater Manchester.
For those Network specialists travelling by car, the school is close to the M60 motorway networks and is set in very pleasant surroundings with a large on-site secure car park.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
