Location; Leicestershire or London (fully remote whilst not safe to return to the office)

Salary; £60k for Leicestershire & £70k for London

You’re the kind of person whose eye twitches every time a webpage takes more than a second to load.

As a digital native’ you’re used to your tech just working’.

But how is it possible...?

As a Developer, you found yourself becoming more and more interested in the operational side of the solutions you were building.

How do you make it so that an app that originally was used by a few hundred people, quickly becomes used by millions or BILLIONS?

Not only how does it scale, but how is it then kept reliable?

If you’ve watched Silicon Valley’ you’ll know that things can quickly and sometimes, literally, catch fire if these issues aren’t addressed properly!

After hearing about how Google’s Ben Treynor created a Site Reliability Engineering’ Team, you were hooked- these are your people!

You went and got yourself a role as an SRE and haven’t looked back!

You’ve learned about all the facets of what makes a great SRE; from automation, orchestration, containerization, monitoring, cloud hosting, Infrastructure as code (IaC), continuous integration and deployments (CI / CD) pipelines, etc.

You have come to love Azure- both Azure DevOps & Azure Monitoring, Terraform, DataDog, NewRelic / Splunk, Application Insights, to name a few.

You’re now looking to spread your wings and find a role where you can work on various different projects to get as much variety of experience as you can, in an environment that will always encourage and facilitate you to learn more, push yourself and achieve your potential.
