Building from scratch, the Merchant Acquisition team will work in close collaboration with the Merchant Platform Product team as well as with Partnership and Business Growth to find new ways to grow Revolut faster while effectively keeping our core customer needs in focus.

ABOUT THE ROLE Your mission is to build and lead a world class sales team from scratch, relentlessly focusing on growing the number of high-quality mid-market merchants using our brand new product : our Merchant Ads Platform.

Based from our London HQ, you will help launch our Merchant Ads Platform with the goal of creating and perfecting a scalable and profitable global sales team.

The Merchant Ads Platform is a fully self-service tool allowing merchants to easily create offers shown to targeted Revolut customers.

The process is simple : they sign up and create an offer in just a few clicks. They only pay for actual sales. And they can track everything with our real-time analytics.

Leading from the front, you will build a high performing team, define its structure, define its KPIs, and build scalable processes to take us to hundreds of thousands of high-quality mid-market merchants using the platform. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Contacting prospective customers from a defined territory / vertical to discuss Revolut’s merchant product
  • Communicating effectively the value proposition by focusing on a solution based sales process
  • Build a sales team from scratch, creating hiring processes, KPIs, commissions & financial targets designed to scale globally at speed
  • Managing SDRs sales funnels to ensure maximum performance on the following;
  • Identifying potential new merchants through a variety of mediums and identify their decision makers
  • Turning prospects into leads, close the sale and provide after-sales support including onboarding WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • 5 years experience in sales, growth or business development, ideally running successful growth strategies and defining messaging for a successful product
  • 2 years experience as Head of Sales, Head of Growth or Head of Business Development
  • Experience with SMBs, preferably with a track record of sales to this segment
  • Successfully built or scaled sales departments in a high growth environment catered to SMBs
  • Experience in managing a team, setting compensation and performance based metrics A little about us When Revolut was founded in 2015, we had a vision to build a sustainable, digital alternative to traditional big banks.
