Aldermore’s FP&A team provides swift, accurate reporting to ensure the stability that supports business growth. Our financial planning and analysis experts are responsible for reporting on profit and loss, balance sheet management, budget and forecast preparation and providing insight and analysis to our Executive Committee and Board.

The Role Outstanding opportunity for a hungry and ambitious FP&A Analyst in the early stages of your career, to join this progressive organisation in a role that will give you terrific exposure and responsibility at all levels.

You will support the Head of Financial Planning Analysis with internal management reporting and reporting and analysis activities to Aldermore’s South African parent, FirstRand Group.

The role will have the responsibility for the preparation of materials, presentations and analysis of published results of Aldermore to the FirstRand Group, whilst also supporting FP&A colleagues with any ad hoc MI requests.

You will also be expected to work with other key stakeholders across the Group, including the business line Finance Business Partners, Financial Control, Treasury and Group Communications in order to collate a suite of commercially insightful management information for the changing needs of the business.

Accountabilities include Stakeholder Management

  • Professional communication with various stakeholders across the bank from peers to members of the Executive Committee to gather data and information
  • Reporting

  • Supporting the FP&A Managers in the production of performance packs, slides and commentary for various governance boards and forecast / budget packs
  • Once delivered, support the new financial planning tool utilised within Aldermore, including administration and consolidation of the monthly results within the tool
  • Creation of presentations and other communication materials for press releases and presentations to analysts and the FirstRand Group Investor Relations function
  • Research and preparation of background materials and reports and analysis to underpin all external communications of the Group
  • The Person Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA studier is preferable but outstanding graduates looking to take their first step into Finance will be consideredIdeally you will have had a good basic grounding of working within an FP&A function within any sector Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels is essential with excellent communication skills to matchYou will be ambitious and passionate and looking for a challenging role in a progressive organisation The Rewards As you would expect, this opportunity offers a competitive basic salary and reward package, and you’ll also benefit from our commitment to investing in your professional development.
