We play a key role in helping the rest of the technology function, by building services that are easy for them to use and help them deliver features to our clients and members faster.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to work on the analysis, discovery and development of our Foundation products.

You will be working in a dynamic, hands-on environment as part of a cross-functional team delivering software for our platform.

As such, you will be working closely with engineers and subject matter experts to discover both User and System needs, whilst also tracking industry best-practice.

We are looking for Product experts who share a passion for Systems and Software Engineering in addition to Product and User Research methods.

A large part of the role will be to identify business needs and to translate these into technical requirements. You will be responsible for defining a Roadmap and ensuring we deliver high quality products to our stakeholders.

As such, experience managing a Technical Product including user-discovery, software requirements gathering and documentation, will be advantageous.

What are we looking for :

  • Strong business analysis skills, especially around process and user flow definition.
  • Technical ability and experience with high-level Software Engineering and system architecture
  • Experience managing a technical Product.
  • Strong grounding in Product Management principles and best practice.
  • Be adept at building hypotheses, validating assumptions, and breaking up solution designs into a manageable backlog for development
  • Be comfortable understanding complex operational processes and uncovering process improvement opportunities
  • Be able to understand and prioritise user problems and engage cross functional teams to arrive at outstanding solutions
  • Be very comfortable working in growing, fast-paced, agile environments.
  • A positive, growth oriented attitude and a constant willingness to learn and improve.
  • Requirements :

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts; interest in creating and analysing products
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex information and identify key insights and communicate outputs clearly
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Good critical thinking skills with the ability to develop and confidence to suggest original productive ideas
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive and logical approach to workload
  • Preferred qualifications, skills & experience :

  • BA / MSc degree
  • Software development experience through coding in a general purpose programming language
  • Understanding principles of Agile / Scrum / Kanban
  • Internship experience, or experience as a Teaching or Research Assistant in a similar technical field
  • Experience leading entrepreneurial efforts, outreach within organisations and / or project management experience
