Main Purpose of Role :
Within LexisNexis we require an enthusiastic and talented Technical Consultant,to takeownership ofpreand postsalestechnical consultancyand support processesworkingwithLN staffandkeyclients.
The individual will be ofbotha customer-facingand technical nature, supporting the sales processand product adoptionas appropriate,and educating on the technical capabilities ofLexisNexisproducts and services,internally and externally.
Key Accountabilities :
To build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
Responsible for providing customer-facing pre-salesand post-salestechnical support to the sales team and product adoption team.
Liaise with customers and product developmentteams to clarify objectives and document requirements.
Work directly with customers and internal / external product development and commercial opportunities.
Client facing technicalintegration support for products and softwaresolutions.
Technical analysis, design and support for interface andproduct-basedsolutions.
Gathering & collating customer feedback and feature requests, maintaining contact with clients and receiving feedbackwith regard totechnical and user experience issues, considering and validating and escalating as appropriate.
Desirable Knowledge and Abilities :
Must be able to work both independently,along with actively participating in teams.
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and in all forms with clientsandsupport organizations.
Must have a clear understanding of Active Directory and SAML. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management advantageous.
Knowledge of any of the following : hardware and operating systems; internet / intranet / extranet; commercially available databases (full-text or relational).
Ability to distil and communicate technical information in terms a user can understand both to small and large groups and to handle questions in a commercially astute and sensitive manner.
Understandingof information retrieval methods / Application programming interfaces (APIs).
Working within an agile project and knowledge of agile best practices.
Client facing and communication.
Self-organisationand time management.
Business analysis & technicalwriting.
Project implementation life cycle.
Training and coaching.
