As a Specific Learning Difficulties Assessor / Adviser (SpLD) you will be responsible for reviewing the current levels of diagnostic evidence and undertaking new assessments for students to the requirements of the University.
You will deliver support to disabled students in small groups and a one-to-one basis and provide staff training.
You must have a L5 Teaching Qualification (e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE), a qualification in Specific Learning Difficulties at level 7 or above which enables the holder to complete psychometric tests for exam access arrangements (e.
g Postgraduate dyslexia diploma or CPT 3A).
