The organisation has grown rapidly from 2013 to 2020 with an increase in turnover from £7m to £23m. We now work with over 400 schools across the UK.

There are further exciting opportunities for continued growth and innovation as the profile of mental health awareness in the UK grows.

The Finance Business Partner is an exciting new post established in March 2021 and its success will support an overhaul of the charities finance function, revitalising the culture, operations and team.

The Finance Business Partner will support a revised business structure working on a customer facing partnering model. They will support a focus on quality outputs from the finance function and will help to embed financial autonomy across the business.

  • This role is key to ensuring efficient and effective financial management for their designated areas of the organisation (Business Units (BU)) by providing finance partnering to key managerial and senior internal stakeholders, ensuring that all financial planning, implementation and monitoring is robust and effective.
  • The Finance Business Partner holds a key position for the day-to-day provision of financial information for planning and control purposes.
  • The role will provide ownership of the end-to-end processes necessary to take financial data and to report in a meaningful way back to the relevant audiences in the organisation.

  • To develop and support the financial management of the organisation by overseeing the processes and procedures for recognising income and expenditure in the organisation.
  • This is in tandem with overseeing the full budgeting and management accounts process related to the relevant Business Units.
  • You must be ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified.

    Experience of a finance position within the Charity Sector is not essential, however useful.
