Supportive Care Services Lead

Yeovil or Taunton based

22.5 hours per week

Salary £23, 090 per annum

based on a full time salary of £38,484 per annum

We are seeking a registered professional to lead our Supportive Care Team who believes in our values and wants to make a positive difference by working with an innovative and respected organisation.

St. Margaret’s Hospice provides holistic care to people with life limiting conditions who require specialist palliative care.

Our Supportive Care Team are a key part of the work we do, delivering support, advice, counselling and therapeutic intervention to patients, carers and families.

Emotional and psychological support services are provided both pre and post bereavement. We care for people in our Hospice in-patient unit in Taunton, as out-patients and day patients at our Taunton and Yeovil Hospice Hubs and in the community across Somerset.

This new post will provide an exciting opportunity to further develop our highly regarded supportive care services. The postholder will have responsibility for the operational management and delivery of safe and effective Supportive Care Services.

They will be required to create sustained links with local organisations to develop and co-ordinate services.

Applicants will need proven experience of effective management and relevant advanced clinical skills to provide professional leadership to the team.

They will require excellent communication and organisational skills.
