We’re ICare, a domiciliary care service in Blackpool and we provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia.

We are seeking to recruit some great new Care Workers; are you a caring, self motivated, patient, understanding team player? This job could be for you!

Our main priority for this job role is to find people with the right values, behaviours and attitudes that match our own! You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications we are happy to work with you to develop and train you to the highest standards, to help you become an excellent care worker.

We are looking for reliable, trustworthy individuals who can be flexible when working alone or as part of a team. Being a care company we strive to make a positive difference to the people who live in our community.

Care Workers are at the heart of what we do delivering frontline care in people’s homes.

Currently offering paid DBS checks for new starters and also Fast Track Training.

Our clients are individuals and they all deserve to be treated as such. This will require you to be a good listener and communicator, have empathy towards others, and be respectful and observant.

Key Requirements :

Be kind, friendly and honest

Be able to provide 2 references

Be prepared to go through necessary back ground checks, inc DBS

Be eligible to work in the UK

Have a full UK Driving License and access to vehicle

Key Responsibilities :

Assisting and Enabling

Washing and Dressing

Providing Food and Refreshments

Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients

Bed making

Administering medication

Contributing to record keeping
