Job Summary :
Houlihan Lokey’s Presentations and Graphics department is seeking a Presentations Specialist to serve as an integral team member in producing high quality pitch books, and formatting general documents.
The Presentation Specialist will primarily be working in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro. The successful candidate will have experience in both presentation design and non-
creative document formatting.
Create, or update PowerPoint pitch books and presentations in accordance to company identity standards
Create company branded charts, graphs, tables, icons and other infographics
Modify and work with custom pre-designed PowerPoint templates
Format Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents
Build and style Word templates
Setup and run mail merges (badges, labels, letters, and cards)
Create letterheads and other related stationary
Work with creating, combining, editing, watermarking, redacting and optimizing PDF documents
Other similar presentation design or document formatting requests
Bachelor’s Degree (Graphic Design, Marketing or related field preferred)
2+ years of financial PowerPoint Presentation experience
Ability to take ideas and think creatively to make professional, aesthetically pleasing layouts while maintaining company identity standards.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel (non-technical) and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Ability to work with a job ticketing system, work well under pressure and make quick, sound decisions
Superior and professional written and verbal communications skills
Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously within compressed timeframes
Excellent research skills - know the places to look and manage time spent efficiently
Strong aptitude to acclimatize and learn quickly
Ability to work independently on a project or collaboratively as a team player and able to integrate with a diverse team with varying opinions and ideas
