General Responsibilities

As a HR Administrator based in our Uxbridge head office you will be responsible for all HR administration activities from recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, employee relations, payroll & reward and employee data and information systems.

You will act as first point of contact for queries from employees and external partners. Because life moves so fast in our business, HR must move quickly too.

You’ll need to be proactive, take initiative and be ready to make decisions, fast. Here, HR is all about finding innovative, pragmatic and focused on solutions and putting them into action.

The role : Taking the wheel at Hertz

  • Acting as first Point of Contact (POC) for all employees, line management, and internal HR team on people queries, escalating to appropriate HR stakeholder as required.
  • Responsible for all HR administrative tasks i.e., issue contracts, HRMS system updates & maintenance, onboarding documentation, process employee life cycle changes etc.
  • Maintaining and updating the HR systems daily updating employee records where required. Ensure data within HR Systems is 100% current and accurate
  • Monitoring the probation period for new employees, liaising with HRBP line managers, and ensuring relevant letters are sent out and actioned appropriately.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and actively managing the selection and onboarding process.
  • Manage and support training and development programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Produce Key Performance Indicator data and reports as required
  • Note- taking at HR related meetings where applicable.
  • Involvement in and ownership of ad-hoc projects or project support.
  • Support HRBP, HR Generalist as required.
  • Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources, including HRIS system, payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, and other sources.
  • Essential Requirements

  • Previous HR administration experience
  • CIPD level 3 accreditation (minimum)
  • Third level qualification in Business or Human Resource Studies required
  • Professional and confidential approach to their work
  • Experience with HRIS systems / platforms
  • Can demonstrate working at a fast pace
  • Can converse confidently with all levels within the business
  • Able to handle multiple projects at one time and multi-task daily
  • Never forgets their role is pivotal to the delivery of an outstanding customer experience
  • Applies rigorous attention to detail
  • Is energetic and resilient
  • Is focused about Data Privacy and confidentiality

  • Strong IT skills including experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
