Join the aftermarket Operations team at Sulzer Pumps in Leeds, as our Parts Cell (days) to help us drive aftermarket operations to the next level

In this role you will be accountable for :

  • Reporting directly to the Parts Cell Manufacturing Lead, you will be required to ensure all inspection operations are completed whilst ensuring all systems are followed and operated to safe working practices
  • You will possess the ability to work independently to a high degree of accuracy using conventional measuring equipment
  • You should be competent in reading and interpretating engineering drawings and component interfaces
  • Liaison with internal departments, sub suppliers and quality teams will also be a key element of the role
  • To succeed in this role, you will need :

  • Excellent communication skills together with the ability to be flexible, work well in a team and on your own initiative
  • Candidates should be apprentice trained in a machining / fitting engineering discipline (or similar) and have an appreciation of 5S philosophy and continuous improvement
  • Computer literacy and experience with SAP is a key part of this role
