Group Financial Controller at : is actively looking for a Group Financial Controller to lead our international finance team and facilitate the growth within financial control.

Reporting to the Finance director, this role will be managing and coordinating our Revenue team along with the financial control teams in UK, EU, APAC and MENA.

The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of payments, the ability to perform in dynamic and changeable environment, have a desire to work with and improve existing processes and managing a large team.

What you will be doing :

  • Day to day management of the financial control remit
  • Complete oversight of the monthly consolidated management accounts and statutory accounts compliant with IFRS
  • Development and monitoring of financial control framework across the Group
  • Lead revenue function including growing commercial finance team to report and reconcile accurate revenue data
  • Liaise with FP&A to ensure timely and accurate reporting data
  • Input into the ERP implementation
  • Responsible for regulatory reporting in all regulated jurisdictions
  • Be point of contact for Group auditors and local auditors where appropriate
  • About You :

  • Experience in the Fintech industry (preferably within payments)
  • Fully qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a least 5 years' experience managing finance teams
  • Experience working in high growth environment and desire to work with dynamic team
  • Experienced people manager with desire to work with and train growing team, mentoring staff
  • Strong technical knowledge and confident preparing IFRS and GAAP financial statements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - you will engage with colleagues on a daily basis and you'll need to ensure processes and standards are being followed
