An opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 nurse with proven acute hospital experience to work within Gynaecology giving the opportunity to work within the team to lead and change practice.
We currently have two positions available, a fixed term contract of 34.5 hours per week and a permanent contract of 23 hours per week.
Main duties of the job
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join the Gynaecology team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered nurse.
You will provide specialist knowledge, advice, information and education to patients, carers, health care professionals and relevant others.
Our Gynaecology unit provides 17 inpatient beds and an early Pregnancy Assessment unit caring for a wide range of elective and emergency Gynaecological surgery as well as early pregnancy complications, therefore an experience in Early Pregnancy would be desirable but not essential.
The Ipswich hospital is also a centre of excellence for gynaecological cancers across the East Suffolk and North Essex area.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic nurse who is motivated and has a passion for delivering high quality care to join our team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to effective team working, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be flexible with a good sense of humour.
Personal development will be explored on an individual basis to meet KSF requirements and needs.
