Our depot at Southampton is currently looking for a new warehouse / driver to join our team. NRS Healthcare is the UK’s leading provider of Community Equipment Services, we deliver complete end-to-end services through all stages of equipment provision and recycling.

Our Warehouse Operative / Driver Relief's are a pivotal part of the success of the service we provide.

Responsible for the day to day activities associated with the efficient running of the warehouse and refurbishment facility regarding the receipt, management and dispatch of stock.

When required assisting the Driver Technician in day to day deliveries and installations, may be required to Drive from time to time and driving safely and efficiently to undertake required activities.

What we look for in a Warehouse Operative / Driver Relief

  • Goods-in, receipt, quality check and putting away of new stock
  • Picking and assembling of healthcare equipment
  • Support Prescriber visits in store with equipment advice and demonstration
  • Housekeeping including perpetual inventory checks (PI)
  • Relief driving (Vehicle maintenance, including safety checks) - Delivery and collection of the correct equipment to service users
  • Understanding and demonstrating the correct functionality and safe installation of items or repair and replace and damaged or faulty stock item
  • Appropriate processing of all paperwork.
  • What we are looking in a warehouse / driver :

  • Good command of written and verbal English
  • Scanner literate to a basic level or willingness to undertake training
  • Time management and personal responsibility
  • Physically capable to do the job
  • Able to take and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Good teamwork and communication skills

    Travelling will be necessary within this role and on occasions to other NRS Service Centres or Head Office in Leicestershire.
