Supply Chain Finance Manager
Based out of Whitbread Court, Dunstable

Purpose of the role : -
As a commercially-minded qualified accountant, this role will elevate your existing business partner skills and see you partner our Heads of Supply Chain and really get under the skin of our changing FTSE 100 business.
This role will be responsible for the financial management of all aspects of our Supply Chain Operation in the UK and Internationally -
alongside providing financial support to our Supply Chain Transformation program.
What you will be doing : -
As the financial linchpin for our Supply chain, you'll manage the budgeting and forecasting by business partnering effectively with our Head of Procurement and Supply Chain Finance to deliver efficiency plans, transformation activity and the impact on our international supply chain
We'll look to you to maintain robust process governance within Supply Chain, so that all projects with a financial impact are appropriately approved
We'll need you to be hands-on and deliver accurate financial modelling and scenario analysis including key contract negotiations, analysis and insight
An advocate of best practice with an innovative approach, you'll constantly seek efficiency improvements through 3rd party data and our internal systems and intelligence

You'll need to be a qualified Accountant with ideally c2 years PQE in a commercial organisation with your hands-on approach underpinned by excellent academic to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline at 2 : 1 or above
We'll expect you to have excellent systems and reporting skills including advanced Excel and Powerpoint
Experience of applied analytical rigor showcasing a structured, methodical and broad-minded approach to business analysis and an excellent insight into the drivers of profit will ensure you make this role your own
Possessing an incisive approach and commercial acumen to grasp opportunities and make well-reasoned judgement on uncertain data will see you in good stead
A proven Business Partner, you'll have the interpersonal skills to influence, educate and shape operational decision making
Confident in challenging others, you'll also be a skilled people-person who can maintain and build strong professional relationships
