  • I’m helping an established agency in Cheltenham to find a C# .Net Core Developer. The business was featured in the Econsultancy Top 100 digital agencies in 2019 and have only continued that success with plans to build out a brand-new digital platform.

    Their service offering covers strategy, automation, customer experience, development and design, boasting an impressive client base which includes well-reputed NFP’s & healthcare companies.

    What skills you’ll need

  • Proven background in server-side development using C# .Net Core.
  • Capable of developing Microservices & RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of containerisation (Docker), CI / CD (Jenkins, Bamboo) & DevOps ways of working.
  • Awareness of cloud technology, preferably with AWS but Azure also considered.
  • Appreciation of front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MVC).
  • Knowledge of databases, SOLID principles & Git repos.
  • Ability to work Agile, managing workflow using JIRA.
  • What you’ll be doing

    With plans to build a new digital platform with several microservices, you will be back-end focused, developing .Net Core services deployed in Docker, using Swagger to document APIs.

    It’s expected that you will carry out unit / integration tests whilst reviewing other colleague’s code and refactoring where necessary.

    You’ll be liaising with internal stakeholders & other third parties, implementing security & data protection measures, assisting on project estimates as well as producing reusable code for future project work.

    There are other initiatives to involve yourself internally giving this role a lot of variety with good scope for progression.
