About the Program :
We’re currently looking for talented scientists to join our innovative academic-style Postdoc. From our centre in Cambridge, UK, you’ll be in a global pharmaceutical environment, contributing to live projects right from the start.

Olaparib and other PARPi have successfully entered the clinic, yet, the understanding of their molecular mechanism of action has not yet been fully elucidated.
We seek a talented postdoc who will work in a multidisciplinary environment to elucidate the mechanism of action of PARPi using unique tools available at AstraZeneca and cutting-edge capabilities in our DNA Damage Response (DDR) team.

Examples of these are growth inhibition / toxicity assays, biomarkers in DDR, cell cycle analysis by high-content imaging, flow cytometry, DNA combing, iPOND.
Skills and Capabilities required :
This is a 3-year programme. 2 years will be a Fixed Term Contract, with a 1-year extension which will be merit based. The role will be based in Cambridge, UK, with a competitive salary on offer
