This is a new role in our Technical Operations Team department based in Barnsley, on a 12 month Fixed Term contract.
Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, the key purpose of this role is to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to resolve complex product development / manufacturing issues, and to maintain current product manufacture by providing technical support to internal and third party departments.
You will lead technology transfer projects to contract manufacturing organisations, as well as liasing across all business functions to promote effective delivery of our business goals.
Reviewing and propose continuous improvements both internally and externally.
We need someone who can develop solid and lasting relationships with customers and service providers.
A key responsibility is to plan and manage projects involving modifications / upgrades / technology transfer products within the outsourced manufacturing supply chain.
Skills and knowledge : Must already have experience in the pharmaceutical industry process validation, formulation development or analytical chemistry.
Experience with technology tools to support the business including excellent computer skills in Microsoft suite environment.
