If you have experience of working with databases, administering payments and you want to work in a team that that oversees services that support vulnerable people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, we'd like to hear from you.

The key aspects of your role will be :

  • Creating reports and presenting data from our management information systems, to help us manage contracts effectively
  • Assisting officers in quality checking and to carry out consultation exercises
  • Administration of payments to our providers
  • Assisting with budget monitoring
  • Supporting consultation activity
  • Being a first point contact point for providers, dealing with queries ranging from payments to advising about data collection and reporting responsibilities
  • Providing support with and undertaking some contract monitoring work
  • In order to carry out this role you will need to be an experienced user of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. It is important that you can show you have the skill to be able to use management information systems that are bespoke to Sheffield City Council.

    You will be joining a busy team and should be comfortable working to deadlines. An empathy and understanding of the issues faced by vulnerable adults who are homeless or at risk of being homeless are important.
