As Project Manager for Engineering you will be part of the Global Engineering Organisation and your key responsibilities will include : -
The development of capital projects including the execution of front end loading processes. Within these projects you will ensure project financial analysis / justification, project controls, cost estimate validation, benchmarking, forecasting and risk management are all adhered to.
You will ensure that compliance with all relevant Industrial and Construction HSE Programs and processes such as hazard analysis and safety reviews are performed daily and safety records kept up to date.
You will develop strategies to communicate, set parameters, influence across all levels and manage competing expectations to avoid scope creep.
You will ensure project requirements are aligned to eliminate risk and mitigate potential issues.
You will be responsible for the coordination, selection and management of engineering contractors and construction Companies.
You will manage multiple priorities in order to achieve overall Global Business Unit goals.
Key Performance Indicators include :
Project Management Certification (Desirable)
Health and Safety Certification (IOSH Desirable)
Education and Experience
Educated to degree level in a Mechanical or Chemical discipline.
Introduction of new equipment, new process development, facilities projects and building project moves.
