CK Group are recruiting for a Chromatography Technician to join a company that provide scientific and technical support to the food and drink industry worldwide through a wide range of analytical testing and research activities.

This position will bebased at their site in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.

This Chromatography Technician role is located in Gloucestershire on the edge of the Cotswold's and the site is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Cheltenham and Worcester.

Chromatography Technician Role :

Your main duties will be to :

Undertake chemical analyses including samples receipt, analysis, use of advanced analytical instrumentation (LC / MS, GC / MS and ICP), interpretation of results and reporting of scientific work to clients.

Liaise with clients ona regular basis including agreeing contracts with clients, establishing contract price, interpreting and reporting results

Follow detailed written methods and procedures in the laboratory and develop bespoke methods to meet specific client needs based on available literature.

Your Background :

The ideal candidate for this role will have :

Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.

The ability to undertake complex and non-routine testing with no or minimumsupervision and competent in both GC-MS / MS and LC-MS / MS analytical techniques.

Good organisational skills in managing own workload and good written and verbal communication skills.
