You will be responsible for supporting the customer through the claims journey and driving all aspects of the claim to settlement as quickly as possible while delivering a fantastic customer service.

You will liaise pro-actively with internal and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of goods and services within agreed timescales and costs.

You will be desk based dealing with customers and third parties on a one to one basis, although you will also work with other colleagues and be part of a team.

You will have strong communication, negotiation and organisation skills. You will build and maintain strong, dedicated working relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Role Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service.
  • Reviewing allocated cases and achieving settlement, within designated personal authority level, in line with established standards, procedures and guidance provided.
  • Identifying non-standard or complex claims and escalating to more qualified colleagues to ensure they are handled appropriately.
  • Managing customer interactions in an efficient, courteous and timely manner in order to deliver high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Organising and using approved internal and / or external suppliers to ensure repair, replacement and supply of appropriate goods and services to customers.
  • Supporting more experienced colleagues in the handling of non-standard cases.

  • Customer service experience in financial services industry or other service industry e.g. retail.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
  • Passionate about fantastic customer service.
  • Excellent communicator
  • Solid experience in delivering results in a timely manner
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of process improvements
