To work closely with the Project Manager and operational stakeholders to ensure scheduling, budgeting and coordination processes for strategic Company projects are delivered on time and to agreed service level agreements (SLA’s).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for operational planning, oversight and coordination of delivery by co-ordinating complex small to medium business based projects.
  • Co-ordinate resource availability tracking, constraints and monitoring for people, plant and materials.
  • Liaise with all stakeholders’ to ensure the project deadlines are met internally thus ensuring timely delivery to the clients.
  • Set-up, co-ordinate and monitor field resource and productivity performance and progress against service level agreements.
  • Create and maintain reports addressing all aspects of project development and completion, making suggestions for improvements to project operations as needed.
  • Continually monitor the progress of a project / s through to completion to ensure its working to the confines of set deadlines and budget, generate progress reports to update stakeholders.
  • Escalate and advise which areas of project development need to be re-addressed in order to maintain efficiency and cost control.
  • Support change management operational projects, working across the business to assess, review and solve impacts on other ongoing projects.
  • Undertake post project reviews to ensure close outs are completed, lessons learnt are collated and adopted for future projects.
  • Knowledge, Skill and Experience :

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Developed proven experience in organisational planning & control
  • Prince2 knowledge (desirable)
  • Display strong analytical, problem-solving and personal organizational skills
  • Professional and flexible written / oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to consistently meet deadlines
  • Able to multi-task and work effectively with a diverse work group
  • Confident user of MS Office skills, advanced : Word and Excel
  • Experience using project planning software
  • Flexible approach to work and hours
  • Salary : Up to £24k + Pension + 25 days Holiday + other Company Benefits
