Toshiba Carrier is currently recruiting for an Area Sales Engineer for our Service team. The main goal of this role is to grow a strong and successful customer maintenance base in a designated region, specifically targeting potential new customers with maintenance contract solutions.

We are ideally seeking candidates based in or around any major English city.

  • What will I be doing as a Area Sales Engineer for Service?

  • You will sell Carrier Service maintenance contracts to contractors, end users and single large sites
  • Identify new customers by utilizing own research to identify growing market sector and account types with the objective of obtaining opportunities to tender.
  • Promote the company’s products and services technically and commercially, (including new products such as Needle Point Ionization) obtain enquiries and ensure they are quoted as required
  • Prepare and submit proposals and quotations using such computer based programme and technical support as may be necessary.
  • On receipt of an order, to ensure enough technical and commercial information is given to process the order
  • To be successful in this role you will possess :

  • Significant experience of service sales experience within the HVAC industry
  • Relevant engineering qualification C&G, BTEC ONC / HNC / HND level Experience
  • Understanding of HVAC systems and controls
  • Current UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
