What will you do? IT Service Manager

As the IT Service Manager you will Manage and be responsible for the operational and financial success of the services delivered to your nominated business units.

Some accountabilities of the role :

Manage day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders, building strong and productive working relationships, fully understand customers business and technical environments and be proactive in the delivery of services through GTS and partners, providing comprehensive and timely reporting.

Accountable for working with internal service teams and operational and project teams to monitor trends, problem areas, and operations challenges in order to produce, agree and implement a continuous service improvement plan.

Responsible for ensuring key stakeholders are aware of processes and governance used within GTS to ensure adherence to all GTS procedures, including escalation, complaint, quality, confidentiality, security and virus policy, key issues are prioritised correctly, performance is measurable and shadow IT is avoided.

Act as a point of management escalation for customer issues and coordination.

Responsible for attending Service and Operational Review Meetings, focusing on performance against contracts, have a thorough understanding of the detail of GTS obligations, address with the customer those aspects of the contract that cannot be delivered, and progress contract change controls with the support and agreement of service owners and the senior management team

Responsible for ensuring that your business units or GTS risks within your own areas are added to the Client services risk register, both commercial and operational, and that you have mitigation action plans in place to address each risk identified.

Prepare regular Service Reports incorporating appropriate key performance indicators to show performance of the services provided against the terms of the contract

Deputise for the Head of Client Services; as required. Perform any other duties commensurate with the role and to develop along with any future changes to the departmental ways of working and general business development.
