Reporting to the Integration Manager
Support the development of appropriate plans, designs, integration and testing strategies for implementation of the integration plan
Analyze the design of the systems and produce Requirements for Test suitable to exercise the integration of System onto an infrastructure.
Define test requirements, specifications and scripts under the supervision of the Integration Manager
Performing a number of trials and tests to confirm the characteristics of the proposed equipment configuration, Inputs and Outputs
Documenting all activities in manner suitable to enhance the understanding of both technical and non-technical audiences.
Track Performance and Integration Status for period reporting
Coordinate with Project Team and Client representatives to ensure the Programme succeeds.
Support the detailed planning to successfully coordinate integrations activities in the Programme
Liaise with Client representatives to witness and accept tests.
Produce of test reports and associated test conclusions.
Utilize Information Management system to publish reports and Integration Evidence Packages
Skills & experience
Significant, technical competence in integration and testing of systems in a complex project.
Understanding of communications systems. I / O
Proven, methodical, fault finding skills
Pro-active and flexible approach to resolution of issues to required timescales.
Good written communication skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Visio. Ability to generate well-structured technical documents and meeting minutes.
Ability to manage documents through a review process, and achieve document release to committed deadlines.
Good verbal communication skills. Ability to contribute productively and democratically in team discussions.
Excellent team spirit and constructive attitude.
Required Education & Experience
Degree in a relevant Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or IT discipline (or equivalent experience).
Technical experience in the application of the systems engineering process in a Construction environment.
Ideally, have experience in TfL Rail Projects
