As a Roster Maintenance Executive, you will play a key role within the Crew Planning team ensuring that our Pilot and Cabin Crew rosters remain legally compliant from the point of publication up to the days before the Crew need to operate to ensure our Customers holidays start on time.
From the point the Crew rosters are published you will be the first point of contact for both the Flight Deck and Cabin crew community within TUI Airways.
You will be responsible for recording, maintaining and amending the crew community’s live roster to ensure the needs of the crew are met while the stability of the flying programme is maintained and ongoing costs are minimised.
The role will require you to work closely and collaboratively with the TUI Group Operations Control Centre (TOCC) and other key stakeholders across the business.
The roles operate on a Monday to Friday basis.

You will ensure that you accurately capture any required changes to rosters after they have been published to crew, either from the crew themselves or to meet other requirements of the business
You’ll make sound decisions that will ensure that the rosters remain robust, efficient and legally compliant once those changes have been made and that any decisions do not have a knock-on financial impact to the operation
Our Roster Maintenance Executives will remain up to date on all legislative requirements and Company Scheduling Agreements so that this knowledge can be applied to find creative solutions to protecting the operation and ensuring our customers get away on holiday on time
You’ll ensure compliance with CAA and Company FTL Scheme
It will be critical that you control associated costs (hotac, travel and allowances) by ensuring rosters remain balanced with respect to work coverage, crew utilisation including lifestyle factors, crew productivity and cost of operation.
What You Will Bring

Proven experience within an airline Crewing / Rostering environment is desired
Experience of working with policy and or legislative agreements
A creative problem solver, able to consider alternatives and arrive at a logical decision
Previous experience in a customer service based role
Understanding of airline legal agreements would be preferable
Process and detail orientated with excellent organisational skills
Strong inter-personal and excellent communication skills, written and oral
Ability to work as part of a team
