An exciting opportunity for a Lead C# Software Developer with strong communication skills has arisen to join an international software organisation in the heart of Europe’s largest Technology Hub, Cambridge.

This company is growing from strength to strength and you will be joining a dynamic team involved in all phases of software development.

You will work on the company’s suite of geospatial solutions from front-end web / mobile to complex back-end data manipulation whilst ensuring the team continues to deliver best of breed software solutions.

This role would be suited to a well-seasoned Lead developer with a passion for design and code.

Requirements for Lead Developer : C# .NET

You will be responsible for :

  • Designing, coding and delivering high quality software as part of the development team
  • Mentoring the development team in design and implementation
  • Remaining abreast of current trends, recognising the potential of novel technologies and standards and driving their adoption
  • Promoting development process improvements and sharing learnings and good practice
  • Working with Product Owners and stakeholders to balance business and technical needs.
  • Working closely with end-users to ensure customer value is achieved. Required Skills and Experience :
  • Team leadership experience within an agile, continuous delivery environment
  • Strong OO language skills C# / .NET
  • Experience in any of :
  • Mobile or Desktop development (e.g. Xamarin, WPF, Android, iOS)
  • Manipulating complex data, GIS or geometry manipulation
  • Experience and familiarity with
  • Unit testing (NUnit or similar)
  • Version control tooling (e.g. Git)
  • Mentoring and leading development teams in architecture design and implementation
  • Developing system architectures that meet functional and non-functional requirements
  • Remaining abreast of current trends in technology and process to promote high quality solutions and reduce operational costs
  • Ready to lead a Team of exceptional developers and experience the latest technologies of C#?
