You might be one of them.The Accounts Assistant is responsible for the day to day Accounts Receivables operations and for supporting the Accounts Payables function as well as communications with our internal sales division, MBS, and our rapidly growing customer base.
This position will report to the UK Finance Manager and support the finance team to assist in the high volume of billing and expense related items, support month end procedures and provide an exceptional level of support internally and externally.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the day to day operations of Accounts Receivable and support the Accounts Payable function as requiredReconcile A / R to the G / LCarry out the monthly invoicing process from preparation through distribution to customerPrepare weekly A / R reporting and present to Finance Manager and MBS stakeholdersCarry out credit control (collections), including escalation where requiredPerform credit control checks for potential new customersComplete customer setup within the finance system and ensure files are maintained timely / accuratelyImplement process improvement and maintain controlsInteract with customers and MBS to resolve outstanding issues in a professional and timely mannerFull ownership of the A / R email box, monitoring requests from internal and external stakeholders and following up in a timely mannerCreate reports to support MBS for them to achieve their objectives and goalsAbout youYou have experience in Accounts Receivable / Collections / Finance in a corporate environmentYou understanding of general ledger principles and processes as well as double-
entryYou have intermediate to Advanced Excel skills and Data Entry skillsYou have excellent communication and customer service skillsYou are self-
directed and hands-on, able to work with minimal supervision while also being very team orientedYou have superb attention to detail and time managementYou meet deadlines, priorities assignment, and multi-
