Riverside have a new opportunity for a Project Assistant, working part-time, on a permanent basis.

Who you’ll be helping

Project 394 is an emergency accommodation for new rough sleepers. There are 13 single rooms, 1 double room and up to 4 sit up places.

New rough sleepers must have a Manchester connection and be aged 18+.

Project 394 accepts referrals from all genders and couples, including rough sleepers who own a single dog. The scheme aims to move customers to permanent accommodation within 4 weeks.

What will you do?

You will assist in the provision of a housing and support service for Riverside’s vulnerable clients, ensuring a professional and supportive approach is maintained at all times.

You will also assist in the day-to-day delivery of the service for supported schemes, helping clients to achieve their personalised support outcomes.

Day to day

Your key responsibilities as Project 394’s Project Assistant will include :

  • Act as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in a reception area as required.
  • Assist in the provision of a comprehensive housing management and support service, including working with tenancy agreements and collecting rents and charges.
  • Carry out day to day office administrative functions to ensure that all records and files are maintained and held securely and that the confidentiality of information is upheld.
  • Have an awareness of the clients support needs, working, under direction, supporting clients to help them achieve their agreed outcomes.

    Does this describe you?

    You will understand the importance of a client led approach and be accountable for the deliver of your role in the most effective way.

    The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary staff team to meet the requirements of a rota system are essential, in order to ensure support is available across the scheme.

    You will also posess the ability to work as part of a team, to deliver a high standard of service to our clients. Strong IT skills are a must, including the ability to maintain professional and timely records.
