Reporting into the Information Security Supplier Assurance Lead, based in either Guildford or Bournemouth (travel between the two will be required) this role will :

  • Work with key stakeholders to understand the scope of activities undertaken by suppliers supporting the business, covering Information Security and Data Protection aspects
  • Undertake assessments in line with the risk posed to the business by the supplier, covering Information Security and Data Protection aspects
  • Work with key stakeholders, internal and external, to mitigate risks identified through assessments, providing technical advice on appropriate solutions and mitigations
  • Continuously identify improvements to the supplier assurance activities, and supporting to implement where required
  • Ensure Supplier Assurance data is updated and maintained in Information Security GRC systems and repositories.
  • Skills and Experience :

  • Proven experience in conducting security supplier assessment completion and process improvement identification
  • Demonstratable experience of risk identification and management
  • Experience of mitigation solutions advisory services to suppliers and business
  • Have attained or working towards CISSP, CISM or equivalent
  • Able to translate Information Security and IT risk language into business language
  • Able to build and main relationships and influence key stakeholders across the business
  • A creative and analytical mind with good customer interfacing and excellent communications skills
