Hours of Work : 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) / 52 weeks per annum. Location : Multi-sited, although based in Gravesend.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating and developing programmes of apprenticeship training in the curriculum area and carrying out assessments of learner competence.
Where necessary, you will deliver training to apprentices in the workplace or in the College. You will monitor the progress of learners and liaise regularly with employers to ensure that the entire training package is delivered and completed in a timely fashion, meeting the expectations of clients.
Qualified to Level 3 or above (mechanical or electrical / electronic engineering) with good knowledge of these occupational areas, you will also be able to demonstrate understanding and experience of engineering apprenticeships.
Communication skills and initiative are essential, along with the organisation and prioritisation skills to set and monitor structured milestones for learners.
You will also hold Assessor and Internal Verification awards and, ideally, an IOSH Accredited Work Placement Assessors qualification or be willing to work towards this.
