The Cardiac Catheter Lab at King’s College Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse join their fantastic team.
We are a busy tertiary centre carrying out a wide range of procedures including structural heart; coronary intervention; Electrophysiology, and PAMI services.
Our emergency pathway provides an exemplary service for patients and wider communities, which is greatly enhanced by our close links with the critical care team.
Our department consists of four labs including a hybrid facility, 2 recovery areas and 2 day case bays. As part of the of the Kings Health Partners group we are committed to high quality innovative research programmes and have been involved in pioneering procedures such as TAVI, Coronary sinus stenting, Lithotripsy therapy.
We have a strong relationship with our research team, which makes our department an interesting and exciting place to work.
As a band 6 team leader you are expected to work at a very high standard. You should possess and be able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and be a role model to your team.
We need an enthusiastic individual who can prioritise work load; problem solving skills and use of own initiative. In addition, you would be required to participate in the 24 / 7 PAMI on-call service.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse that is ready to develop both their clinical and management skills.
It will involve deputising for the managers when away from the department.
The successful candidate will be supported by both unit managers and the rest of the friendly Cath lab Multi-disciplinary team.
