We have an exciting contract opportunity for an experienced Ecommerce Manager with a passion for travel to come and join the Adventure travel Brands of Travelopia (Exodus, Trek America, Grand America and Headwater).
You will take responsibility for the Ecommerce team of 5 and develop, drive and implement the brands’ ecommerce strategy, in order to maximise sales, with relentless emphasis on customer acquisition and conversions.
This role will incorporate aspects of digital marketing strategy including PPC, SEO & affiliates.
You will be a customer champion, maximise and deliver full sales potential of the websites and ensure and environment of constant testing and development of the sites to ensure optimisation.
There is an on-site development team to support on system changes and a creative team in the department to support with creative assets.

This position is a fixed term contract for around 10-11 months to cover maternity leave, with an ideal start date of mid-
February, to allow for a months’ handover. The office is currently based in Balham until April, when the location will change to Surbiton.
What you will be doing :
As the Head of Ecommerce, you will be responsible for overall website performance and online trading, focusing relentlessly on journeys and maximising conversion rate across bookings and leads.
You will develop, own and drive the overall ecommerce strategy to ensure growth in overall bookings, as well as online bookings as a %, through increased customer acquisition and conversion, ensuring consistency of content and customer journey across the site is maintained at all times.
Working with the team you will deliver high impact home and product pages, prioritising key content and work closely with Online Merchandisers, Head of Marketing, the Digital and Systems Team and outside suppliers, on continuous improvements to the website and digital systems. You will also :
