The role of the Intermediary Data Analyst is to ensure that our reporting and data receive the best service possible by supporting group and local initiatives through the ongoing operations and management of the Intermediaries team.

Principal Activities & Responisibilities

The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including :

  • Running the process to produce the MI, or supporting existing process
  • Sending out reports and following up / collating responses from BDMs, Management or IM where necessary
  • Interpreting / challenging and analysing the responses
  • Helping to ensure that MI remains fit for purpose and contributing to the development of MI enhancements
  • Work to improve MI / Reporting of Agile plan
  • Own, develop and resolve to completion items on the team Agile plan
  • Act as expert support and help inform decisions within channel, provide guidance and solutions

  • Work with the Agent management team to create an effective review framework for existing processes and procedures
  • Supporting the team in our implementation of the new data management processes
  • High level monitoring of front office data management outcomes based on criteria set by Intermediaries Management in conjunction with the Data Governance Group
  • General involvement as required in various business management initiatives and projects to represent the interests of Strategic Operations and Intermediaries.
  • Help develop processes to reinforce the desired culture within the channel, specifically accurate and consistent output.
  • Liaise with all areas of the Group including, Intermediaries Office colleagues, Business Development, Marketing, Research, Business Support, Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Training & Competence as required.
  • Reaffirm communications from the Agent ManCo directly to the business.

    1-3 years’ experience in a business role with comparable responsibilities

    A good general education to A level standard or equivalent

    Degree preferable

    Good knowledge of business processes and procedures relevant to role

    Experience of working in Financial Services or Similar Profession
