The current Finance Director is looking to take on a more operational role and is therefore looking for a strong assistant to delegate responsibility to and undertake a mix of project work.
The vacancy would be ideally suited to an ambitious finalist or recently qualified Financial or Management Accountant looking to accelerate their career by taking on a wider remit and benefit from some mentoring.
A key part of this role will be managing the financial reporting needs for a growing new division of the business, so this will be a high profile position where you will engage with other senior stakeholders and get some great experience.

The ideal candidate for this position must have a pro-active approach and the self-confidence to suggest and introduce working efficiencies.
Strong Excel skills and the ability to prepare timely and accurate forecasts (suitable for external stakeholders) will be essential criteria.
Longer term it is planned that the successful incumbent should be able to represent the FD at meetings if required so you must be looking for a role where you can take on more responsibility over time.
